Do I sit at a table and write every day? No!

That's just not me!

Working environment
  • Clean Desk

    My desk is my lap as I sit in a recliner!

  • Defined Working Times

    I write as I'm inspired. In between those times I am playing a video game like solitaire and watching cartoons or movies!

  • No Distractions

    My cat, Max, likes to oversee my work and sometimes insists that I take a break from writing and pay attention to him.

    The fish in my saltwater tank help me to relax.

Laptop

For Writing and Editing

I use an HP laptop with Office 365.  I love to dictate the text in Word as I am a slow typist.  Spell check and Grammarly are my writing friends!

The Bible

Inspiration Comes from Above

The Bible is truth and tells us how we should live.  I have studied the Word of God and it inspires me to tell stories that reveal Biblical truths to the next generation!

Dreams

Sleeping on the job!

God has inspired me with stories and songs in my sleep!  I woke up with the premise and basic storyline for Hidden in Plain Sight and The Sword of Joshua.  All I had to do was write it down!

And afterward, I will pour out my Spirit on all people. Your sons and daughters will prophesy, your old men will dream dreams, your young men will see visions.

I must have a comfortable chair with my shoes off and my feet up!

Coffee and Iced Tea get the synapses firing! Snacks like Peanut Butter Pretzels or Veggies and Dip keep fueling the fire.

Cartoons make me happy. Laughter is healthy and necessary every day!
